Mark Segel
Mark is a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry and has worked in the not-for-profit sector for the past 10 years. He has served in leadership roles at the Tampa-Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, the Jewish Federation of Pinellas & Pasco Counties, and currently is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Tampa JCCs and Federation and Senior Consultant for the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator. Mark is a native of South Tampa and has been engaged in community service as long as he can remember. From the Cub Scouts to the March of Dimes, community blood drives to president of his college fraternity, Mark has taken on opportunities to learn and lead throughout his formal education. Beginning his banking career in 1989, he continued to participate and give back in various ways including involvement with the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club of Tampa, Tampa Connection, Leadership Tampa, Hillsborough High School IB Alliance, HHS Swim & Dive, Hillels of the Florida Suncoast, Outback Bowl, the Leap College Access Network, and as a volunteer for the Tampa JCC & Federation. Volunteer leadership positions have included president of the Renaissance Center for the Arts, Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and chair of the Leadership Tampa Alumni Association. He has been married to Kelly Segel for 25 years and they have one daughter, Ilana, who is a Junior at Florida State University majoring in Creative Writing.
