Following the success of the first Florida-Israel Agriculture Innovation Summit in November 2020, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in collaboration with the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA) will be hosting the second Florida-International Agriculture Innovation Summit in March 2022.

The inaugural summit was initiated by Agriculture Commissioner, Nikki Fried, and focused on new drones and agrobotics technologies, and hemp and cannabis research and developments in Florida and Israel.

The 2022 summit will expand to include speakers and participants from Canada and the Netherlands in addition to Florida and Israel. The topics for the upcoming summit will be water conservation and sustainable agriculture.

The purpose of the Florida-International Agriculture Innovation Summit is to gain insights on important issues facing the agriculture industries in Florida and other countries and to form opportunities for collaboration between these agriculture power houses. Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from growers, investors, scientists and innovators.
