Omer Agiv sees a time coming soon when humanoid robots can do our housework, from washing dishes to folding laundry. His company, Faireez, now is placing sensors on humans hired for those chores to help train robots to perform those tasks in the 2030s and beyond. The serial entrepreneur from Israel leads the housekeeping venture from Miami. He arrived in October, eager to expand in the US and happy to find an environment similar to his native Tel Aviv – full of sun, innovation and diversity. Today, Faireez works with more than 80 buildings serving thousands of residents in Tel Aviv, New York and Miami, offering a menu of cleaning services performed by experienced human personnel.
