One year after its launch, the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator is recruiting a second group of Israeli tech startups that it aims to help enter the U.S. market.
About 15 to 20 of the applications the Tampa accelerator is reviewing were the result of the organization’s trip to Israel earlier this month, said Rachel Feinman, executive director of FIBA.
FIBA was part of a delegation of nearly 70 business and education leaders who joined Gov. Rick Scott on a weeklong trade mission to Israel. During the trip, Scott recognized the eight companies that made up the first class of FIBA graduates.
